About
I’m a software engineer with a background in academic research. I completed my Bachelors in Computer Engineering in Singapore and then pursued a PhD in Computer Science at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where I published work on mobile networking, simulation, and remote health monitoring.
These days I build things with Django, React, and Python. I write about software engineering practices, infrastructure, and the occasional book review on this site. Topics I keep coming back to include test-driven development, self-hosting, and how to ship software that lasts.
I’m interested in Machine Learning, Simulations, and Complexity.
You can find me on GitHub or browse my publications.
I’m open to contract and freelance work — feel free to get in touch.
